How to change valve cover gaskets on a 93 ford ranger 4.0?

I have a 93 ford ranger 4.0 v6 5 speed 4wheeldrive...i noticed when you drive it for a short period of time and get out smoke just rolls out from underneath the hood and you open it up and you can see oil just oozing out from the valve covers...just wondering if that was what is wrong with the oil leakageHow to change valve cover gaskets on a 93 ford ranger 4.0?Yep, I'd say that's your problem. To change them you'll need to go buy a valve cover gasket and some blue glue. Unbolt the valve covers, scrape of the old gasket with a screwdriver, clean up the cover good before putting the blue glue down on it. place your new gasket on. makes sure its right, you don't want your bolts to break the new gasket when you screw them back and don't over tighten the bolts. To be sure you should use a torque wrench. If you don't have one tighten it snug and go about a quarter turn more. Clean the oil that's already spilled on your motor also, or it'll continue to smoke and smell until it burns the oil off. Hope that helped ya.How to change valve cover gaskets on a 93 ford ranger 4.0?probably that is what is wrong.......try tightening the valve cover bolts a little bit.......be careful though cuz they break easy......also change the pcv valve that will slow down the leak and maybe eliminate it all together...... you should get this problem fixed ASAP because the oil leaking out can drop on the exhaust manifold and cause a FIRE!!!
